الآثار الجانبيةSide effects

Febrile response, injection-site infection, venous thrombosis or phlebitis, extravasation, hypervolaemia and hyperkalaemia; nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhoea. Undiluted intravenous administration has caused fatal cardiac arrhythmia and cardiac arrest; must be diluted and not infused rapidly. Renal insufficiency increases the risk of life-threatening hyperkalaemia. IV solutions may cause fluid/solute overload.
