Cephradine 250 mg oral suspension, 60 ml bottle.

• Respiratory tract, urinary tract, and skin and soft-tissue infections caused by susceptible organisms; surgical prophylaxis.

• Mainly gastrointestinal disturbances (diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort) and occasional hypersensitivity (rash, urticaria, rarely Stevens-Johnson syndrome, TEN, anaphylaxis); antibiotic-associated colitis; candidiasis; blood disorders; transient hepatitis/cholestatic jaundice; reversible interstitial nephritis.معلومة عامة عن المادة الفعالة

• Hypersensitivity to cefradine or to any of the excipients.معلومة عامة عن المادة الفعالة

• Partial cross-allergenicity with penicillins: use with caution in penicillin-hypersensitive patients (reactions including anaphylaxis to both classes reported).معلومة عامة عن المادة الفعالة
• False-positive urine glucose with Benedict's/Fehling's solution or Clinitest (not with enzyme-based tests). Prolonged use may cause overgrowth of non-susceptible organisms.معلومة عامة عن المادة الفعالة

• Loop diureticsMay increase nephrotoxicity of cephalosporins.
• ProbenecidRaises serum cefradine concentrations by reducing renal clearance.
