• Visual symptoms (blurring, scotomata) — stop and get ophthalmology exam; may be prolonged/irreversible at higher dose/duration. • Contraindicated in pregnancy — no benefit in this population. • Clomiphene: Competes with estrogen at hypothalamic/pituitary estrogen receptors, increasing gonadotropin release and follicular development culminating in ovulation (US clomiphene citrate labeling).
