  • الحماض الكيتوني: حدثت حالات مهددة للحياة (ومنها حالات وفاة)، ويزداد الخطر بشدة في السكري من النوع الأول الذي لا يستخدم له الدواء، وقد يحدث في النوع الثاني حتى مع سكر أقل من 250 مجم/ديسيلتر. يجب تقييم الحماض عند ظهور أعراضه وإيقاف الدواء في الظروف المهيئة له.نشرة دولية لنفس التركيبة · DailyMed (U.S. National Library of Medicine)

  • Ketoacidosis: life-threatening (including fatal) ketoacidosis has occurred; risk is markedly increased in type 1 diabetes, for which the drug is not indicated, and can occur in type 2 diabetes even with blood glucose below 250 mg/dL.   • Genitourinary infections: increased risk of urinary tract and genital mycotic infections; serious infections including urosepsis, pyelonephritis and necrotising fasciitis of the perineum (Fournier's gangrene) have occurred. كيف يعمل الدواءHow it works
  • إمباجليفلوزين: يثبط ناقل SGLT2 في الأنبوب الكلوي القريب فيقلل إعادة امتصاص الجلوكوز المرشح ويزيد إخراجه في البول.مثبط ناقل الصوديوم والجلوكوز 2
  • Empagliflozin: Inhibits SGLT2 in the proximal renal tubule, reducing reabsorption of filtered glucose and increasing urinary glucose excretion (US label).
