- Productive cough should be respected; combining an antitussive with an expectorant or mucolytic is illogical. - Contains sucrose (4.25 g per 5 ml in the French product): take into account in diabetes; not advised in fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency.
