Sigmaprofen 0.03% is an Egyptian flurbiprofen ophthalmic solution (eye drops) by Sigma Tec in a 5 ml bottle; flurbiprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug used in eye surgery to inhibit intraoperative miosis.

• NSAIDs may increase bleeding time by interfering with platelet aggregation; increased bleeding of ocular tissues (including hyphaemas) has been reported with ocular surgery. • No adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women; oral flurbiprofen in rats (0.4 mg/kg/day, about 300 times the human topical dose) was embryocidal, delayed parturition, prolonged gestation and reduced fetal weight/growth.
