• Consult a doctor first in liver or kidney problems (including alcoholic liver disease), underweight/malnutrition, regular alcohol use, epilepsy/seizures, stomach or bowel obstruction, difficulty urinating, narrow-angle glaucoma, enlarged prostate, myasthenia gravis, asthma/bronchitis/COPD, or severe infection (risk of metabolic acidosis).
