- ديفينهيدرامين: Competitive H1-receptor antagonism; central antitussive effects.
- جوايفينيسين: May irritate gastric vagal receptors recruiting parasympathetic reflexes that increase less-viscous respiratory secretions.مذيب بلغم
- ثيوفيلين: Relaxes airway smooth muscle (bronchodilation) and suppresses airway responsiveness to stimuli; bronchodilation is thought to be mediated by inhibition of phosphodiesterase isozymes PDE III and, to a lesser extent, PDE IV (US label; mechanisms not known with certainty).ميثيل زانثين (مثبط فوسفوديستراز)
