Ciprofloxacin 1 g extended-release film-coated tablets, pack of 5.

• Complicated urinary tract infections caused by susceptible E. coli, K. pneumoniae, E. faecalis, P. mirabilis or P. aeruginosa.
• Acute uncomplicated pyelonephritis caused by E. coli.
• Uncomplicated urinary tract infection (acute cystitis) - labelled at 500 mg once daily, not the 1 g strength.

• Hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin, any quinolone, or product components.نشرة دولية لنفس التركيبة

• Fluoroquinolones increase the risk of tendinitis and tendon rupture in all ages (most often Achilles tendon); risk higher in older patients and with corticosteroids or transplant recipients.نشرة دولية لنفس التركيبة
• Ciprofloxacin inhibits CYP1A2; co-administered CYP1A2 substrates may reach increased concentrations with clinically significant adverse events.نشرة دولية لنفس التركيبة

• TizanidineConcomitant use contraindicated.
• Antacids (Mg/Al), sucralfate, iron, zinc, didanosine buffered formulationsReduce absorption; separate dosing (2 h before or 6 h after).
• CYP1A2 substratesCiprofloxacin inhibits CYP1A2 and may raise their plasma levels.
• ProbenecidReduces renal clearance of ciprofloxacin by about 50% (immediate-release data).
