• History of GI ulceration, bleeding or perforation; GI disorders predisposing to bleeding (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, GI cancer, diverticulitis); active peptic ulcer or GI bleeding; concomitant other NSAIDs (including COX-2 inhibitors and analgesic-dose aspirin) or anticoagulants; previous serious allergic drug reaction (especially SJS/TEN/erythema multiforme) or any skin reaction to piroxicam/NSAIDs; NSAID-induced asthma, nasal polyps, angioedema or urticaria; severe heart failure; last trimester of pregnancy.General active-ingredient information · electronic medicines compendium (emc), UK
