• In controlled trials (labetalol vs placebo): dizziness 11%, nausea 6%, fatigue 5%, dyspepsia 3%, nasal stuffiness 3%, headache 2%, ejaculation failure 2%, dyspnoea 2%, vertigo 2%; also postural hypotension, oedema, rash, impotence and taste distortion (about 1%).
