كيف يعمل الدواءHow it works
- جليميبرايد: من مجموعة السلفونيل يوريا؛ يخفض سكر الدم أساسًا بتحفيز إفراز الإنسولين من خلايا بيتا البنكرياسية العاملة (النشرة الأمريكية).سلفونيل يوريا (محفز لإفراز الإنسولين)
- بيوجليتازون: ثيازوليدينديون يعتمد عمله على وجود الإنسولين؛ يقلل مقاومة الإنسولين في الأنسجة الطرفية والكبد عبر تنشيط مستقبلات PPAR-جاما (النشرة الأمريكية لدواء Duetact).ثيازوليدينديون (ناهض لمستقبلات PPAR-جاما، محسّن لحساسية الإنسولين)
- Glimepiride: Sulfonylurea that lowers blood glucose mainly by stimulating insulin release from functioning pancreatic beta cells (US label).
- Pioglitazone: Thiazolidinedione that depends on the presence of insulin; decreases insulin resistance in the periphery and liver via PPAR-gamma agonism (US Duetact label).
