Ketorolin: ketorolac tromethamine 30 mg in 2 ml solution for injection, 5 ampoules (Pharopharma, Egypt). Short-term NSAID analgesic.

• Most frequent (about 1-10%): GI effects (abdominal pain, dyspepsia, nausea, constipation/diarrhoea, flatulence, GI ulcers, bleeding/perforation, heartburn, stomatitis, vomiting), abnormal renal function, anaemia, dizziness, drowsiness, oedema, elevated liver enzymes, headache, hypertension, increased bleeding time, pruritus, purpura, rash, tinnitus, sweating; serious complications include GI bleeding, postoperative bleeding, acute renal failure, anaphylactoid reactions and liver failure.General active-ingredient information · DailyMed (U.S. National Library of Medicine)

• Hypersensitivity to ketorolac; active, recent or history of peptic ulcer disease or GI bleeding/perforation; asthma, urticaria or allergic-type reactions after aspirin or other NSAIDs; prophylactic analgesia before major surgery; CABG surgery setting; advanced renal impairment or risk of renal failure from volume depletion; labor and delivery; suspected or confirmed cerebrovascular bleeding, haemorrhagic diathesis, incomplete haemostasis or high bleeding risk; current aspirin or NSAID use; concomitant probenecid or pentoxifylline.General active-ingredient information · DailyMed (U.S. National Library of Medicine)
