• Suicidal thoughts and clinical worsening: depression carries a risk of suicide-related events, especially early in treatment and after dose changes; antidepressants increased suicidal behaviour versus placebo in patients under 25. • Potent CYP3A4 inhibitors (azole antifungals e.g. ketoconazole, macrolides e.g. erythromycin, fluvoxamine, nefazodone)Reboxetine is mainly metabolised by CYP3A4; ketoconazole raised reboxetine levels by about 50%. • Reboxetine is excreted in breast milk; the amount transferred is expected to be very low, but a risk to the infant cannot be excluded.
