• Boxed warning: fluoroquinolones have been associated with disabling and potentially irreversible serious adverse reactions occurring together, including tendinitis and tendon rupture, peripheral neuropathy and CNS effects; discontinue immediately and avoid fluoroquinolones in patients who experience them.
